When I got my Realme 12 Pro 5G, one of my top priorities was to find a solid yet sleek case to protect it without adding bulk. After some searching, I decided to try the AmazonBasics Back Case Cover (Polycarbonate, Thermoplastic Polyurethane, Transparent). Here's my detailed personal review after using it for a while.

First Impressions

The case arrived in simple but sturdy packaging, keeping it scratch-free.      

The moment I unboxed it, I noticed how lightweight and flexible it was.

 The transparency was crystal clear, allowing my phone’s original design

 to remain visible—a big plus for me as I didn’t want to hide the beautiful

 aesthetics of the Realme 12 Pro 5G.

Design & Fit

The case fits my phone perfectly—not too tight, not too loose. The precise cutouts ensure that every port, button, and speaker aligns perfectly. The raised edges around the camera and screen add a layer of protection, preventing direct contact with surfaces.

One thing I really liked is the slim profile. Some transparent cases can be bulky, but this one maintains a minimalistic look while still providing solid protection.

Material & Durability                                                           

Made of polycarbonate and thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU),

 the case has a good balance of flexibility and sturdiness. It doesn’t 

feel too rigid, yet it’s firm enough to absorb minor shocks. The corners

 have slight reinforcements, which provide extra protection against accidental drops. I accidentally dropped my phone from waist height once, and thankfully, there were no scratches or damages!

However, like most transparent cases, it does tend to attract some fingerprints and smudges over time. A quick wipe with a cloth usually solves this, but it's something to keep in mind.

Grip & Comfort

One of my concerns with transparent cases is slipperiness. But this AmazonBasics case has a non-slippery texture, making it easier to hold. It also doesn’t feel sticky or cheap in hand, which is a relief.
